This signed copy of "A West Wind Rises" is a great addition to any serious fan of poetry.
The storyline is about the Marias des Cygnes Massacre. This massacre took place during the height of the slavery conflict. A group of slaveowners rode into a free state town and captured a group of men, took them outside the town, and shot them dead. Then they fled away. This is a poem about that fateful time.
Good condition - a few minor stains and tears in the dust cover, but the hardback is a beautiful blue and the gold lettering on the edge of the spine is near perfect. Just a little shelf wear on the bottom of the spine. This book is signed by Bruce Cutler.
