Description
Mixing light and darkness in the service of God.
In nature, some things don't mix—oil and water, for example. The same principle is true when it comes to utilizing ungodly elements in the service of God.
Unfortunately, many of today's professing Christians want their public services to "blend" the things of the Spirit and the things of the flesh. God's Word clearly says: "For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other" (Gal. 5:17).
Dr. Rick Flanders demonstrates historically that "blended worship" has been around for thousands of years. He makes an articulate case to show that the results have never been pleasing to God. Furthermore, they are not beneficial to Christians.
When we are faced with so much confusion concerning the important subjects of faith and service to God, it is vital that we ask ourselves, "What does the Bible say?"
