An analysis of the Bible by subject, really, due to the efforts of one, Matthew Talbott, a wealthy man of Leeds, England. Arranged in 30 books, Editor Rev. Roswell D. Hitchcock, revised the anaylsis to 27 books with indexes and the contents of the book show subject matter conerning Scripture, God, Jesus Christ, Fallen Man, down to Eschatology (or, The Last Things). 1150+/- pages with beautiful illustrations by Thomas Nast, among others. Condition Notes: Grades good, close to VG for an 1873 book, binding good, split (see pictures), clean pages minimal if any writing or marking, a page rip was found but not entirely torn through.
