A nice, vintage, hardcover copy of the book, "Holston Methodism from It's Origin to The Present Time, Volume One R. N. Price which is a history of the Methodist Church and the introduction of Methodism into the "Holston Country", which is the area of primarily Eastern Tennessee, and Southwestern Virginia centered around the three forks of the Holston River that flow into the Tennessee River in that mountainous section of Appalachia in Southeastern United States. Jeremiah Lambert brought official Methodism into the area in 1783, no doubt through the Cumberland Gap. The Volume One listed here recounts the work of the Methodists in this area unto the Year of 1804. Full of original source material. 437 pages with Fast Shipping!

Condition Notes: grades good with shelf and use wear, cover worn, spine faded but binding is strong.  foxing, age fade but text pages clean, supple, bright with vivid B&W illustrations.  A very nice 1903 edition
