Learning Language Arts Through Literature: The Yellow Book (Teacher Book)

This program uses a fully integrated approach as it takes students through all the activities needed to learn spelling, vocabulary, grammar, reading, penmanship, creative writing, and higher order thinking skills. Most lessons contain a passage of literature and learning activities which are designed to help your student learn language skills in their context while developing writing and thinking skills. Four literature links throughout the program enhance your student's reading abilities. Eight assessments are also included in the program. Use these to evaluate your student's progress and assign a grade if needed.
