Postmarks by Lenoir Ray

A very nice, hardcover copy of the book, "Postmarks: A History of Henderson County, NC 1787-1968" by Lenoir Ray.  A volume that contains a scholarly chronology of the postal history of the Western North Carolina county, Henderson County.  This history of the time when the US Post Office was the major link to the outside world for these NC Mountain Counties is an excellent reference of original source material for anyone researching Western North Carolina.  An interesting and well-written book.  412 pages with Expedited Shipping!
