Psalms Carefully Suited to the Christian Worship Issac Watts & William W. Woodward

A very nice, rebound copy of the vintage (to say the least), 1817 songbook, "Psalms Carefully Suited to the Christian Worship in the United States being an Improvement of the Old Version of the Psalms of David" by Isaac Watts and published by William W. Woodward.  This is a volume of the Psalms edited and redone by the great Hymn writter, Isaac Watts, in the Common Meter (CM)  and Long Meter (LM) making the Psalms more easily sung in a congregational settings in the United States of the Colonial and Post-Colonial period.  With well-done binding and overall clean pages, this hymnbook is both usable and very collectible.  389 pages, (page 389 torn in half) with Expedited Shipping! 

Condition Notes: shelf wear, a 1995 rebinding is very well done.  Hardcover with overall clean and usable pages.  A very nice, vintage book.
