Random Reflections

I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.  And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: ~ Genesis 9:13-14

The rainbow first appears in the Bible in the story of Noah as a token of the covenant made by God with man to never destroy that world by water again.  Science has a long explanation of how a rainbow is formed and of its many variations.  The bottom lins is that it is a felection of sunlight through the water particles from raindrops.  Its purpose is the cause us to reflect on that promises made to us from the Word of God.

As our world around us today seems to be in self-destruct mode take a few minutes to reflect on what the Bible has to say about our current status.
