A very nice, original, vintage copy of the paperback book, "The Awakening: Revival in China, a Work of the Holy Spirit by Marie Monsen, translated from the Norwegian by Joy Guinness. With Chinese culture so adverse to foreigners over many centuries, foreign Christian missions were very difficult. Beginning in 1900, the Holy Spirit began to open a door for China Inland Missions as result of the 1900 Boxer Uprising.
