Description

This book details the founding, criticisms, and ten years of rich history of the Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now called Palmer Theological Seminary).

Founded in 1925 as EBTS, the school was controversial for its views on women in ministry. Although conservative on doctrine and holding a high view of Scripture, various groups during that time period described the school as more liberal because of this stance on women in ministerial leadership roles.

Nonetheless, this book provides the history of the founding and the first ten years of operation of what is now known as Palmer Theological Seminary.

Very good condition, original, first edition copy. Cover is a little dusty from shelf wear and faded from age, but overall nothing wrong with it. This copy does not include a dust jacket. Pages are aged, but there are no markings, tears, or bends and they are still extremely put together. The binding is holding together quite nicely for an 80+ year old book.
