The Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Counted among those doctrines that are absolutely essential to be believed in order to become a Christian is the resurrection of Jesus Christ (Rom. 10:9). It is then no wonder that this great fact played such a prominent role in the preaching of the apostles (Acts 2:24, 32). It is also no wonder that the Devil began his attack on this doctrine from the very beginning (I Cor. 15:12; II Tim. 2:18), an attack that continues through modernists to this very day.

With a courtroom-like approach, Dr. B. H. Carroll takes up the case against those who try to explain away or deny the actual, bodily resurrection of Christ. He shows the impossibility of their position based on rules of evidence. Then he proves the resurrection to a fair-minded reader by using the same standards applied to objections to the doctrine. His work is scholarly but easily understood. It should convince the sinner and confirm the saint when it comes to the vital doctrine of the resurrection.
